Dorothy Kilgallen was born in Chicago on Thursday, July 3, 1913 (G.I. Generation generation). She is 111 years old and is a Cancer. Dorothy Mae Kilgallen (July 3, 1913 – November 8, 1965) was an American journalist and television game show panelist. She started her career shortly before her 18th birthday as a reporter for the Hearst Corporation’s New York Evening Journal after spending two semesters at the College of New Rochelle. In 1938, she began her newspaper column, The Voice of Broadway, which eventually was syndicated to more than 146 papers. She became a regular panelist on the television game show What’s My Line? in 1950. She was once incredibly close with Frank Sinatra, but developed a deep-seeded hatred for him as her career progressed. In fact, she wrote a cover story about him in 1956 called The Frank Sinatra Story, in which she completely debased and maligned him.
