She was second flute for the National Symphony Orchestra and the Los Angeles Philharmonic. She is currently an Adjunct Professor of Music at Boston University. She was the first woman to be the principal chair for a major U.S. orchestra and she was also second flute for the National Symphony Orchestra and the Los Angeles Philharmonic.
